Mercedes Boat Speed Run!

I've been getting a lot of comments, emails and PM's since Pure Platinums 185.7 run last month.

We have never tried an actual speed run before, just went off what our speed was when out playing. Today we took the boat to some good water in Miami to see which is actually the "Worlds Fastest pleasure boat".
We put a set of 17" props which were a little bit too big, Rev limiters were only set at 6,800 not 7,000 but we figured we would see what it could do. We still had a few good runs considering.

There are more videos that will be posted that were taken from the air, another boat as well as video from inside the boat. It all has to be processed. This is a little clip of one of the runs with Johnny Tomilson holding a camera. Not a bad job considering what he was doing!!

This morning I went to sign my dog up for welfare. At first the lady said, "Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare". So I explained to her that my dog is, unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and has no frigging clue who his daddy is. He expects me to feed him, provide him with housing and medical care, and basically just feel guilty all the time because he is a dog.

So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify. My dog gets his first check Friday.

Damn, this is a great country!

Air Force One crashed in the middle of rural America . Panic stricken, the
local sheriff mobilized and descended on the farm in force.

When they got there, the disaster was clear. The aircraft was totally
destroyed with only a burned hulk left smoldering in a tree line that
bordered a farm.

The sheriff and his men entered the smoking mess but could
find no remains of anyone, including the President.

They spotted a lone farmer plowing a field not too far away as if nothing
at all happened. They hurried over to the man's tractor.

"Hank," the sheriff yelled, panting and out of breath. "Did you see this terrible accident happen?"

"Yep. Sure did." The farmer mumbled unconcernedly, cutting off his motor.

"Do you realize that is the airplane of the President of the United States?"

"Yep."

"Were there any survivors?"

"Nope. They's all kilt straight out" the farmer answered. "I done buried
them all myself. Took me most of the morning..."

"President Obama is dead?" the sheriff shouted.

"Well," the farmer grumbled, restarting his tractor.
"He kept a-saying he weren't ... but you know what a liar he is."
